Instant gratification is ruining your future

A text. A like. A new follower. It feels good, doesn’t it?

But this quick good feeling is costing us something valuable.

We’ve started looking for rewards, instantly, everywhere—even in the stock market.

Trading gives you that hit. Buy, sell, repeat. Excitement, rush, dopamine.

But it fades fast, like sugar, leaving you empty and wanting more. That is where you fall in to the rabbit hole.

Investing, on the other hand, is like planting a tree.

You won’t see a fruit in a day. Or a week. Or a month.

It takes time. Patience. Nurturing. And faith in the process.

But when it grows, it provides shade, fruits, and beauty that lasts.

There is a reason SEBI is trying to curtail F&O participation in the Indian markets. F&O cannot be a national pastime.

In a world that pushes us to want everything now, investing teaches us to wait.

Let go of the rush. Embrace the journey.

Because true wealth isn’t built overnight—it’s grown with patience.

Instant gratification may ruin many things, but don’t let it ruin your financial future.
